The iNSECT Project

A wide-eyed freshman gets a chance at her dream tech university, but to meet the school’s expectations, she must experiment on her own body.

'The iNSECT Project' is a TV show about a young college student named Wilke set in a budding sci-fi future. This thesis is the pilot episode where she is first accepted into the prestigious college NSCCT. Despite being live-action, the show implements 2D animation as Wilke strays farther and farther from her own humanity. On a similar note, we focus on ideas of unbridled persistence, procedural consent, and the ethics of science in the pilot.
