Ellen McCanless is studying UX design and is part of the website team! She has previous experience working on film sets and is excited to work on the website this year!
Janya is studying UX design and helps manage the SPO Website. She is very interested in the Film & TV industry and hopes to one day work in a role that combines the two. Janya is excited to continue improving the website and see how it evolves throughout the year!
Emma Scalzo is a Senior Advertising and Branding major from Boston, MA, and leads Newsletter and Flyer design here at SPO! Her interests lie in art direction, graphic design, and creative strategy. She is thrilled to work alongside the film department in providing resources for fellow students!
Schuyler Bellerjeau is a sophomore Film and Television major from Raleigh, North Carolina, and a member of the Mentorship team. Her focus is on directing and screenwriting, but she is passionate all sides of visual storytelling. Schuyler brings a balance of creativity and organization to every project, whether directing, producing, or supporting sets behind the scenes. With experience on student and independent productions, Schuyler is driven by a love for collaborative filmmaking and a commitment to helping students get the most out of their time as a filmmaker at SCAD!
Caitlyn McLaughlin is a Film and Television major with a minor in Dramatic Writing at SCAD, currently in her junior year. Passionate about storytelling, she creates imaginative works that inspire others to tell their own stories. As a mentor coordinator, Caitlyn is excited to share her love for the arts and support fellow creatives in their journeys.
Shane McLaughlin is a freshman Film and Television major from Dallas, Texas. He is focused in directing, content creation, acting, and overall storytelling. Shane is so excited to be a part of this team and hopes to help grow and strengthen the SCAD Production Office’s online community.
Isley Gold is a Film and Television major with a minor in Producing for Film. As a member of the Production Office events team, she is passionate about creating welcoming, organized, and exciting experiences for students and guests. She is especially excited to contribute to events that support SCAD’s creative community and help make the Production Office a positive space for collaboration, connection, and student success.
Alejandra Ceballos is a current Junior here at SCAD and is coming from California. Alejandra is not only majoring in Production Design, but she is also double minoring in Business Entrepreneurship and Themed Entertainment. With a focus in Set Design and Project management, she is always helping conduct creative direction in film projects here at SCAD. Alejandra is on the Events Team here at the SCAD production office, and her intentions are to provide students with more opportunities to network and learn more about their industry.
Emily is a Senior Film/TV major from Tuscaloosa, AL who specializes in cinematography and music composition, with additional interests in writing, G&E, and directing. She is passionate about helping people diversify their skillsets and advocating for a collaborative work culture in the film program. She's excited to be on the team!
Coming from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Karissa is a Junior studying Film and Television at SCAD, with focuses in cinematography and producing. She is very passionate about learning, and leading others to achieve their goals and aspirations. Working at the Production Office has allowed her to explore her levels of organization while on the events team and is so excited to create new experiences for students this year!
Chloe is a senior Film and Television major from Philadelphia, PA. She has a specialized concentration in editing, alongside additional passions as a colorist, cinematographer, gaffer, and assistant director. As a member of SPO’s content team, she's grateful for the opportunity to work alongside a high-achieving team that’s collectively dedicated to promoting resources the office has to offer.
Grace Aubele is a junior Film student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, concentrating in producing with a minor in Fashion Marketing and Management. She serves as Student Head of Backlot Production Services, overseeing production coordination and supporting student, faculty, and professional productions at Savannah Film Studios. As a fashion film producer, she is passionate about bringing together storytelling, fashion, and visual direction through collaborative production.
Phillip is on the Events team with the Savannah Production Office. He is from Los Angeles, CA and is a senior Sound Design major. As a member of the events team, he is excited to provide opportunities for students to connect with students, faculty, and the industry.
Kiera Canton is a Seniror Film and Television major from New York City. She is focused in directing, assistant directing, and producing. She is so thrilled to join the SCAD Production Office and advocate for the film student body to make sure every student gets the most out of SCAD’s production opportunities.
Gabby Gilbert is a junior Film and Television major with an Advertising and Branding minor from Los Angeles, California. Her expertise includes producing and directing short form content for social platforms. Gabby is extremely excited to be a manager of the Production Office, she is most excited about the opportunity to give back to the students and create a positive environment for creatives.
Albert Koenig is a Film & TV Major from Nashville Tennessee. Having worked on student and professional productions in producing and postproduction roles, Albert has helped steward the production office since February 2024, bringing industry expertise and perspective into the engine of the office. Albert is extremely passionate about evolving what the student film can be and providing students with the best chance possible to make their dream a reality.
Ayla is in her first year as a SPO Mentor. She is a sophomore Film and Television major with an Animation minor. She has a specific interest in producing and screenwriting. She has experience as a script supervisor, production assistant, and gaffer on student films led by upperclassmen and is open to more collaborations.
Jiya is in her first year as a SPO Mentor. She is a sophomore Film and Television major with a double minor in Business Management and Dramatic Writing. She has worked on several productions as a Production Assistant, Associate Producer, and 1st Assistant Director. Currently, she an intern for the Television Academy Foundation and writing her first pilot episode. She loves to strengthen story and produce the best version of one's script possible!
Annabeth is the Production Supervisor for ATL's Student Production Office and is in their first year as a SPO mentor. They are a Film & Television graduate student. Originally from Alabama, they are a multi-modal artist and filmmaker whose vast production experience includes assistant directing, production supervision, locations, art department, and script development. Before starting SCAD, they worked for three years in the film industry as a background casting director while simultaneously producing independent shorts.
Tiberio, a.k.a. Tibi, is the Co-Events Coordinator for ATL's Student Production Office and is in his second year as a SPO mentor. He is a junior Film and Television major. He specializes in directing, screenwriting, and camera work while also having worked as Production Secretary on ChefATL and has plenty of on-set experience.
McKly is in his first year as a SPO mentor. He is a junior Film and Television major with minors in Cinematography and Sequential Art. He specializes in camera movement and operation and has experience as a DP. He prefers to camera operate and 1st AC and is a skilled steadicam operator and film loader.
Ricky is the Social Media Manager of ATL's Student Production Office and is in his first year as a SPO mentor. He is a senior Dramatic Writing major with a Film and Television minor. His primary focus is writing comedy short films and pilots, having written for many SCAD students' capstone films.
Natsuko, a.k.a. Suko, is in her second year as a SPO mentor. She is a junior Sound Design major with a Film and Television minor. She is an international student from Japan. She has both production experience (2nd Assistant Director, Production Coordinator) and post-production experience (Supervising Sound Editor, Sound Mixer, Foley Mixer, Dialogue Editor). She worked as Lead Physical Producer for episodes of chefATL and was a part of the sound department for 2026 College TV Awards winning film, Óménàlà.
Daniela is the Graphic Designer of ATL's Student Production Office and is in her third year as a SPO mentor. She is a senior Film and Television major with experience as Lead Editor, Assistant Editor, Post-Production Supervisor, Colorist, Sound Designer, and Producer on multiple capstone, thesis, and larger SCAD projects such as chefATL.
Nasiir is the Events Coordinator of ATL's Student Production Office and is in his second year as a SPO mentor. He is a senior Film and Television major with a Sound Design minor. He has experience on capstones, thesis projects, and SCAD’s unscripted reality show, chefATL. Nasiir hopes to bring his experience and passion for film to help capstone and thesis films flourish.
Dhruv Jupalle is in his second year as a SPO mentor. He is a senior Film and Television major with a focus in cinematography. He loves to use his creative instincts in shaping images that suit the director's vision as well as experimenting with different gear and rigs. When he's not DPing, Dhruv usually can be seen hanging around Camera and G&E, cracking jokes, or geeking out about a specific piece of equipment that piques his interest. Dhruv has worked in many SCAD capstone/thesis/collaborative projects, notably in chefATL as a crew member of its Camera and G&E department for four episodes.
