The Hero is a dark comedy about the show we put on when the world is watching. After her coworker dies during a live broadcast, Sloane is accidentally turned into a hero, even though she hated the guy. At the funeral, she’s surrounded by cameras, phones and people looking for something meaningful to hold onto. She quickly realizes something uncomfortable. Her lack of feeling plays well.
