Mac Daddies and Lavender Girls

Logline: A barista with a crush goes on a journey of self-discovery in order to win her over, only to discover he was perfect for her all along.

Synopsis: Martin, a young, quirky barista, falls in love with his regular customer, Jenny. While closing shop and helping Jenny pack her backpack, he asks her what her type of man is. She says she wants a man who is Masculine, Attractive, and Confident. The rather rom-com obsessed, pink-wearing Martin goes home to his roommate/best friend, Denton, who surprises him with four tickets to the spa. The usually excited Martin feels upset because of his insecurity about his ability to live up to Jenny’s perceived expectations, so he goes to the gym to sweat it out. After the gym, he vents to Denton about how he feels like he’ll never be enough for Jenny. Denton helps him to see that he is more than enough, but just then, Denton’s girlfriend, Lacy, shows up with her best friend, Jenny! Jenny admits she likes Martin, and the two hug as the other two join in. The two become a couple, and the four of them go to the spa together.
