What Cheer

While already busy with last minute holiday shopping, a young trans woman encounters an alien clone, on Earth for a day trip. Forced to take the clone along, through it she must confront how she feels about herself, her body, and the way the world treats her.

What Cheer is an adaptation of a short story of the same name. A slice of life movie in the vein of Jonni Pepper's "Wasteland", Jane Schoenbrun's "We're All Going to the World's Fair", and Gregg Araki's "Mysterious Skin". But with an alien. It's a short about self-love and acceptance. We are mainly looking for our PD/Costumes/HMU team at the moment. What Cheer will also need a team of VFX compositors to help in post production.
