Grumbos Bad Day

Under fire from conservative news outlets, a puppet TV host must hide a career ending secret that could also destroy his marriage.

Grumbos Bad Day is a film about being queer in the public eye, work life balance, and most importantly, puppets. Grumbo comes out as transgender right before the events of the script, leading to turmoil within their marriage and fear that this secret may leak to a news outlet hungry for controversy. The costumes and aesthetics of the world will be more fantastical than our day to day, as its a world puppets live in, so lots of production design, set construction, and some VFX work will be needed to bring this world to life.
