Hands Like Hers

A daughter’s search for her missing mother unearths a silence in the house that her father can no longer ignore.

The story follows Evie, a teenage girl navigating the aftermath of her mother’s death while living with her emotionally distant father. As memories and unresolved feelings surface, Evie must confront her grief and decide whether to heal and move forward or fall deeper into the weight of her loss. We are currently looking for: Makeup Artists: Skilled in subtle, natural looks and light SFX work such as realistic bruising or blood for emotional climaxes. Production Designers: Comfortable with moving furniture, applying wallpaper, and shaping the home setting to reflect the emotional journey of the characters. Costume Designers: Able to craft grounded, character-driven wardrobe that reflects personality, grief, and transformation over time. Also casting! Looking for someone who can portray a 17 year old girl, managing grief and someone who is able to show their deep emotions on screen. Shooting winter quarter. January 23-25th 2026.
