Red String

When his best friend mysteriously disappears, the son of a small-town sheriff embarks on a search for answers, piecing together their last moments together as memories blur the line between truth and illusion.

There’s an old story in Chinese folklore about a magical connection between two people that are destined to be soulmates, called “The Red String of Fate”. The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. Written & Directed by Ally Bernabe. "Red String" takes an old tale and retells it in a way that amplifies the tragic reality of young love and the desperate pursuit of truth. We're filming Weekend 5 (October 10-12) and we are looking for grips, set dressers, a post sound supervisor and post sound crew, and a vfx supervisor.
