Missed Calls

While packing to move, a grieving young man discovers an old photograph and begins imagining his late mother’s voice in a series of nuisance calls, forcing him to confront the guilt of missing his last chance to say goodbye.

We’re looking for a DP, G&E crew, a production designer, and sound crew for Missed Calls, a FILM 341 Directing the Narrative short film. The story follows Jack, a young man packing to move, whose memories of his late mother turn a series of unwanted phone calls into a chance to say goodbye. We’re planning a two-day shoot during the weekend of Week 5, mostly indoors with a few outdoor montage shots.
