Hi, my name is Todd Queenan. I’m a junior at SCAD currently enrolled in Directing the Narrative, and I’m directing an occult horror short filming Weekend 6 (May 1st–3rd). I’m looking to fill several key crew positions, including a gaffer, key grip, and additional grips, as well as an SFX team, production design team, and a costume designer. This film focuses on creating a strange, uncanny atmosphere through lighting and shadow, so I’m especially interested in collaborators who enjoy working with mood and visual storytelling.
I am also still casting and seeking African American talent for the roles of Martha Smith (35–40), a sickly mother with a buried past, and Lamar Smith (18–21), her grieving son trying to care for her. The roles of Sarah & Janet Foster (35–40), a mysterious pair of missionary sisters with an unsettling presence—strangers to Lamar, but somehow known to Martha—are open casting.
If you’re interested in being part of a stylized, atmospheric horror project, I’d love to connect
