Garden of Eden

Influenced by the Devil, Eve seeks out Adam in a club and tempts him to give into lust and desire for the night

I first listened to the MAYHEM album right when it came out, and this song caught my attention almost immediately. There is a certain dark, sensual atmosphere to it thats hypnotic but still perfectly Gaga. The concept makes me think back to my Catholic roots and the story of how Eve tempted Adam to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. I wanted to bring that into a more modern setting to blend with the upbeat pop that is the forefront of the song. It’s fun, it’s gritty, it makes you want to dance, it leans into religious imagery, it has the whole package
