A Major Inconvenience

After Peter gets invited by his new girlfriend to a social gathering in order to meet new people, his world of simplicity turns to a chaotic mess of lies, overly specific college majors, and seafood.

Peter, a recent college dropout, gets brought along to a party to meet all of his girlfriend’s (Marley) closest companions. What he doesn’t know is that they all met in a support group for super specific majors/interests. As he’s introduced to more of the crowd, their fields of study become more apparent (Car Horn Sound Design, Bodily Force & Motion). Peter feels compelled to get these new accomplices on his side, provided he lies about his own major (Marine Cosmetology). The lie spins around to Marley’s ex-girlfriend, Shirley, whose jealousy and resentful attitude regarding Peter, creates a messy montage of aquatic theft and a missing fish.
