My name is Colin Roddy and I was born in Washington D.C and grew up in Rockville Maryland. I began pursuing filmmaking in high school, where I was a staff videographer for my school newspaper. When I was 16 my family relocated to Boynton Beach Florida where I graduated high school in 2021. I attended Palm Beach State College for two years and It was there where I really learned the fundamentals of filmmaking. I wrote and directed three short films and worked on various other student projects. After graduating in 2024 I continued pursuing film by working various on set jobs and directing my most recent film Night Light in the fall of that year. I recently started school at SCAD In the fall of 2025.
