MacK George is a freshman at Savannah College of Art and Design and previously studied Film at Annapolis High School in the AACPS Apex Arts Magnet Program. At SCAD she is majoring in Film and minoring in Sequential Arts with a concentration on film production and comic illustration. MacK is a hardworking and determined student who wrote, directed, illustrated and edited her Anne Arundel County Film Festival award-winning solo capstone film titled ‘Drywalled'. Completing this production in under 4 months taught her skills in time-management, determination and critical thinking. MacK has completed multiple short-time projects in the past, such as her Sophomore year final project ‘Door,’ a passionate love-letter to the found footage subgenre of horror, and ‘Working Title,’ a 14-page comic about imposter syndrome and growing up. MacK is also a returning student at Filmsters Academy, each year crafting a single full-length short film with 12 other incredible student artists in only two weeks time. Her experiences at Filmsters each summer continue to help guide her creative processes during class quarters.
