Details
Bless Me is a thesis short film produced at SCAD.
The film follows a Chinese international student who begins to feel increasingly uneasy in an unfamiliar environment. As fear and suspicion grow around him, he starts to believe that weapons may offer more protection than prayer or religious faith. Gradually, he becomes trapped in a cycle of fear shaped by the society surrounding him.
The project explores themes of social anxiety, fear, and self-reinforcing systems of violence through minimalist storytelling and symbolic imagery. The visual style emphasizes atmosphere, tension, and carefully composed imagery.
