Bless Me

This is a SCAD thesis short film Bless Me, a psychological drama about fear, identity, and what “protection” really means. The story follows a Chinese international student dealing with anxiety, isolation, and cultural pressure while studying in the U.S. Influenced by constant news, social tension, and a growing sense of being watched and unsafe, he slowly shifts from relying on spiritual comfort to something more physical, changing how he understands safety.

We’re shooting Week 5 (Thu–Sun) Accept without following the entire process (1 DAY) Thu & Sat: evening shoots （8pm-12am） Fri & Sun: full day （10am-10pm） Most of the shoot will be around Arnold Hall (TBD), River St nearby areas, Backlot, and Airbnb location. We’re looking for people who are down to collaborate and be part of a thesis project. Freshmen are very welcome! It’s a great chance to get hands-on experience on set and work with a supportive team. *****For the 2nd AC position, experience with SCAD Digi Cine courses is preferred. Meals + snacks will be provided, and we’re keeping the set chill and efficient :)
